3.) Have completed a short series of quests in the game after accepting the proposal.


From this point, go to the Party Center in the City and Organize a Party! Planning a party can take a long time: at least several weeks to more than a month. You will need a lot of emeralds and hopefully several hundred diamonds. It is possible to plan your party without spending any diamonds! But it will take longer and it will limit the number of guest you can invite.

Save about 1800-2000 emeralds and several hundred diamonds before you start the party planning process. If you are not planning on using diamonds, it will require more emeralds.

1.Hire a Party Planner
You must have a party planner active. You can rent her service for one, two, or four weeks (four weeks cost 65 emeralds). If your time runs out, you will not lose your progress! You will just need to hire her again before you can do any more party planning.

2.Rent a Location
The place you rent will determine how many guests you can invite to your party, and also how many gifts you are allowed to register. The smaller places can be rented with emeralds, but if you want unlimited party guests and gifts, you will need to pay 100 diamonds.

3.Get an Engagement Ring
To complete this challenge, you'll need to find a total of 5 gemstones somewhere on a board of 100 spaces. Their location is totally random and there is no strategy except to check as many squares as you can. Each square costs a magnifier ($1000) to open, although you can get a discount if you buy magnifiers in packages of 10, 20, or 50. This challenge comes down to dollars, so expect it to take a few days.
Once you complete this challenge, you will receive two diamond engagement rings (one for each hand) for your lady to wear, worth 150 Fashion Points apiece!

4.Rent Decorations
You will need to rent at least 30 pieces of furniture to decorate your space. These sell for either emeralds or diamonds. Expect to spend around 900-1000 emeralds in total. Some decorations can only be purchased with diamonds. These decorations can only be used for your party. However, you do gain Creativity points which are permanent!

5.Decorate your Party
Decorate just like a room in your apartment. You must buy a minimum of 30 decorations. You can return and re-decorate as often as you like. Bands and photographers count towards this goal

6.Hire a Band
You can choose one of six musicians to play at your party. Once you've chosen, you need to win a game of chance in order to hire them. In each attempt, you have a 1 out of 6 chance of succeeding. You have one free attempt per day: each additional attempt costs 10 diamonds. If you only use your free attempts, you can pass this without spending anything, maybe 3-4 days. The band you choose can also count towards the 30 decorations needed. You also can hire more than one.

7.Hire a Photographer
You can choose one of three photographers. Each one requires an up-front fee of 100 emeralds, plus you must complete 5 mini games. If you are patient, you can complete in 2 days by spending 50 emeralds and about 50 diamonds. For quicker completion, you can spend an additional 40 diamonds and avoid the 2 day wait. If you do not want to spend diamonds, it requires luck. Without diamonds, expect this to take about 9 days and 180 emeralds. Once hired, the photographer also counts towards the 30 decorations needed.

8.Order Drinks
You choose one of three drink tables. Once you've chosen, you must complete 60 jobs which function like photo sessions. Each job takes 20 minutes and has a 50% chance of succeeding. You can buy boosts that reduce a job's time to 10 minutes, or give it a 100% chance of succeeding. These cost $500.00(there are discounts when buying packages of boosts). This takes a few days and money but no emeralds or diamonds are required for successful completion

9.Order Food
You choose one of three food displays. Once you've chosen, you will  play a mini game modeled after the Fashion Machine in Carnival. There are 15 “materials”, and you must win 5 of each, totaling 75 complete rows/columns. As in the Fashion Machine, you can buy two kinds of jokers to increase chances of success: 21 emeralds for 10 of both. Assuming you win 3 rows/columns per game, this will take  25 days and 54 emeralds. Just like the Fashion Machine, you can buy extra spins or daily games for diamonds. Extra games cost 3 diamonds, if you want to complete immediately, expect to spend around 75 diamonds.

10.Choose an Outfit for your Fiance
You must purchase 10 items of clothing from a special store for your fiance. All prices are in emeralds and diamonds. The least expensive option - An assortment of ties for 210 emeralds.

11.Choose an Outfit for your Lady
You must purchase 10 items from a special store for your lady. All prices are in emeralds and diamonds.  the least expensive option -An assortment of jewelry for 280 emeralds.

12.Write Fiance's Toast
Write a brief toast from your fiance that party guests will see during the speeches! There is no cost or wait time

13.Write your Lady's Toast
Write a brief toast from your lady that party guests will see during the speeches! There is no cost or wait time

14.Purchase a look for your Fiance
You must purchase at least 3 items from a selection of hairstyles and beards. These can only be purchased in this shop! The lowest priced item is 123 emeralds.

15.Purchase look for your Lady
You must purchase at least 3 items from a selection of celebrity hairstyles, eyes, noses, and lips for your lady. These can only be purchased in this shop!  Costs start at  500 emeralds! This can be reduced by also using diamonds

16.Register for Gifts
 Choose from a selection of several hundred gifts. They includ clothing, furniture,pets, pet clothing, and hairstyles. You do not have to pay for these. These will be the gifts that ladies can purchase for you during the party! when a guest purchases a gift for you, she also receives this gift.
Note that if you did not select the location with unlimited guests, your maximum number of gifts in your registry will be limited to the maximum number of allowed guests.

17.Create Invitations
Select a background, and write a message for your party invitations! There is no cost or wait time

18.Pick a Date for your Party
Pick a party date. Your party will last 8 hours, so choose carefully. Once you select a date, it cannot be changed. As soon as this is complete, all other ladies in the game see your upcoming party in the Party Center under "View All Parties"!

19.Invite Guests
 Send out invitations to ladies in the game! Keep in mind that about 1/3 will not show up.
